Photography Competition
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
With the addition of a giant screen to the festival backdrop, it’s a great opportunity to display photos and drawings that demonstrate what Maidenhead and Maidenhead Festival mean to the local community. The committee are inviting entries into an exciting photography competition.
“Love Maidenhead” photography competition
It’s competition time! We want to showcase just how amazing Maidenhead is and instil a bit of pride in our town. So, you’re invited to share photos you’ve taken of your favourite place in Maidenhead, along with a sentence of why you love Maidenhead.
Remember, we're looking for photos that celebrate Maidenhead, we're looking for images of special places in the town such as the river, the the amazing open spaces, statues, architecture, as well as images capturing what happens in the town from Art on the Street, to the weekly market, to the hundreds of charity events that happen. Can you take a photo that captures the amazing community spirit that's in abundance in Maidenhead?
Prize Categories:
The competition is supported by Jodie Humphries, local blogger and photographer and founder of the Instagram hashtag #lovemaidenhead. She comments “when I started the #lovemaidenhead tag on Instagram I was hoping that other Maidonians and local photographers would join in and help me celebrate and share all of the little things that make Maidenhead a great place to live. My children and I have always enjoyed the Maidenhead Festival so I’m thrilled to be joining forces with them and am looking forward to seeing lots more photos with the #lovemaidenhead tag for everyone to enjoy.”
